This is a coloured photograph of Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, Pauline M. McGibbon. It is set in a cream coloured mat that reads "Copyright//Cavouk//PORTRAITS//"THE COLLONADE"//131 BLOOR STREET WEST//TORONTO 181. ONT.. CANADA" towards the bottom. The photograph was taken indoors and features the Lieutenant Governor seated in an armchair in the centre of the photograph with a pair of white gloves in her proper right hand. McGibbon wears a dark coloured dress and a red-and-white pin. On the bottom right corner of the photo is the photographer's signature in silver ink, reads "Cavouk". There is a hand-written inscription on the bottom of the paper mat that reads "1975// To the Mayor and Council of the City of Kingston// Pauline by____".
