This is an off-white china commemorative plate. The edge of the plate is decorated with gold trim. On the top of the plate, there is a coloured image of the City of Sudbury coat of arms. The words on the bottom of the image reads "INDUSTRIA// INCEPTUM// INTEGRITAS". The words in black lettering around the coat of arms are "City of Sudbury// Ville de Sudbury". On the bottom of the plate, there is a black symbol of a maple leaf with the words "Dedicated in Canada". Below the symbol, the words are "22 K GOLD CANADIAN ART CHINA LTD.COLLINGWOOD". There is a black text that briefly introduces the history and development of Sudbury. Below the text is a paper label that is adhered to the plate.
