Description

A white coloured circular shaped porcelain commemorative plate with gold line on the rim. The words in blue on the brim are "Arklow Urban District Council". On the centre of the plate, there is a crest with a yellow scroll below in Latin. On the top of the crest are 2 red triangles, one contains the image of the sun and the other contains the image of a fish. On the middle of the crest is a stylized sailboat on top of the waves against a white background. Below the scroll is the word "ARKLOW" in black lettering. The back of the plate is white and it has a blue manufacturers' mark on the centre of the base, reads "MADE AT THE ARKLOW ENTERPRISE CENTRE BY Wm.O' FARRELL".
