This is a patch or emblem in recognition of the Kingston Tercentenary 1673-1973. It consists of a white nylon front and a blue flet backing. It features the image of Kingston City Hall and a Martello Tower with red and blue felt emblem. The words on the top and bottom of the image read "Kingston Canada Tercentenary 1673-1973". There are visible white stitches on the edges of both sides of the patch.
This patch was created for the Kingston Tercentennial celebrations in 1973. The Kingston Tercentennial was a commemoration of the 300th anniversary of Frontenac’s landing in Canada around the Kingston area. There was a year-long celebration.
