Coat of Arms

A metal coat of arms for the City of Kingston. It represented the City prior to amalgamation when a new coat of arms was initiated. It has a lion and a griffon holding up a red shield with a martello tower under a crown. On top of the shield is a helmet, with a beaver on top of it. There is a ribbon at the bottom that has blue text that says, "PRO REGE // GREGE // ET LEGE".
