Bottle, Ink

This is a glass ink bottle. It is colorless and stained. The bottle has a circular base and rounded shoulder. It has neck rings and a flat lip. The bottle has a section of glass missing from its body. On the base of the bottle, there are embossed words that read "Watermans Ink / Made in Canada". There is an embossed triangle with a "C" in the centre of the base. This manufacturers' mark indicates that the glass bottle was produced by Consumers Glass Co. in Montreal because the company used this mark between 1917 and 1961.
