Description

This is a pharmaceutical-type glass bottle. It has a green tinge, a rectangular base, and chamfered corners. It consists of four panels, a straight neck and a two-part finish. On the side panels are the words "DR. S. PITCHER'S" on one side and "CASTORIA" on the other.

History

Dr. Pitcher formed the Pitcher’s Castoria Mfg. Co. and built the Picher’s Castoria Manufactory at Boston in 1869
