a- This is a varnished wood plaque. It has a metal plate on the lower half, and a plastic plate on the upper half. The plastic plate is red with a gold maple leaf affixed to it. The smaller metal plaque is engraved with text that reads, "TO // MAYOR HELEN COOPER // IN APPRECIATION // FOR YOUR SUPPORT // DURING MY COMMAND // FROM MGEN JACK DANGERFIELD CMM,CD // COMD 1ST CANADIAN DIVISION". The reverse side has two gouges for hanging, as well as an adhesive label for the manufactorer of the plaque. b- This is a small black coated metal plate. It has text engraved on it that reads "Presented to // the city of Kingston // for their strong support to 1 CDHSR // while deployed in Rwanda // 1994 - 1995". The reverse side is not coated.
