A rail car mover. The handle is missing. It is comprised of a tube shaped socket that is attached to a base with a bolt that allows it to move. It is also attached to a second piece that is in turn attached to the base with another bolt. The socket has a hole for a handle and four other holes (two on each side). On one side, the hinge piece says "DILLON MFG. CO." and on the other side it says "VI . TORONTO. ONT." The base of the socket says "PAT'D IN CANADA DEC. 28 1909" on one side, and the other says "PAT'D IN U.S. OCTOBER 26 1909". The socket has "VI" stamped into it. At the bottom of the wedge on the base "N O VIII" has been engraved into the metal.
