Black metal gauge with a glass cover. Numbers are arranged around the outside edge of the gauge from 0-10 in increments of 2, with a metal arrow in the centre. The manufacturers information is on the face of the gauge, "WATER LEVEL (FEET) EVERSHED MIDWORTH TELEMETER No 269492 BRITISH PATENT No 400289 PATENTED ABROAD" Mounted on metal brackets with a rotating gear on the back. Imprinted into the frame of the gauge is the word "TERMINAL". A small plaque on the side of the gauge reads, "Donated by R.H. Nichols V.D. Agent Evershed & Vignoles Ltd. London England"
