a- A chartreuse coloured hardcover book with black text that says "FARM STEAM SHOWS USA & CANADA By Dana Close Jennings". It was published by North Plains Press, Aberdeen, S. Dak. in 1972. There is a pen inscription on inside cover page "Given to Jack T by Fred DeLory". On the spine is the text "FARM STEAM SHOWS USA & CANADA DANA CLOSE JENNINGS NORTH PLAINS PRESS" and the stylized image of two horses. b- A dust jacket with coloured illustration of a farm field haying activity with a steam tractor in operation on the front panel. It also has the same text on the front and spine as the book. There is information on the book on the front flap of the dust jacket. There are notes on features of the book ("EDUCATIONAL ENTERTAINMENT" "CROSS-INDEXED" and "INSIDE AN EXPLOSION!") as well as a photo of the author and an about the back flap of the dust jacket. The back panel of the dust jacket says "NORTH PLAINS PRESS 1216 South Main Aberdeen, South Dakota, 57401" at the bottom, with the stylized image of two horses and the rest is white.
