Description

A reprint of a page from Sebastian Munters Cosmographie, originally published in 1544. It is a woodcut possibly captioned "VELDKiRCH NACH CLAUSER iN SEBASTiAN MUNSTERS KOSMOGRAPHIE 1544". It contains a bird's eye view of a walled town, between some mountains and beside a river. Some of the buildings and the directions are labelled and there is a legend on the upper right of the image.
