History

Martha Greening Jamieson (1918- 2011) was a Kingston artist who studied design in London, England. She was active as a set and costume designer for Queen’s University and the Stratford Festival Theatre. Her costume drawings were not just notes for a seamstress or tailor, they are works of art interpreting the roles of the characters who will wear her costumes.
