Description
A series of six vignettes / views taken from the "Canadian Illustrated News". Of the six views, five of which are of decorative arches at various locations around downtown Kingston, and the sixth of which (at top left) is a view of the interior of City Hall (In Memorial Hall) filled with people in regimentals and formal dress. "CANADIAN ILLUSTRATED NEWS // JUNE 14, 1879" is printed above the image across the top with "THE VICE-REGAL VISIT TO KINGSTON" printed across the bottom centre below the images and below descriptions of the six vignettes.
