A silver and white painted steam whistle. It consists of a silver body and an off white base with a threaded pipe coming from the bottom and an arm on the side of the base that is attached to a wooden handle via rope. The white base has two tones, a cream on the upper body part and a grey on the lower pipe part. The cream base has on both sides the imagine of a shield with a diagonal line splitting it in half. The main body has three openings nearer to the base. The silver body is a plan cylinder with a decorative top. On the top of the cylinder it says, "J. MORRISON / BRASS MFG. CO. / TORONTO." The arm on the side is curved, and is not painted. A length of cord is knotted through a hole in the arm, and on the other end of the rope is a wood handle with metal fittings.
