a- This is a black metal miniature model of a tandem steam roller. The front section is the roller with the coal sitting on top, the middle is the steam engine, and the back section of the model is the roller with the seat. The front has a roller in two parts, as well as a loop above them, supposedly for hitching. There is a seat on the right side, with a leaver connected to the machinery. The steering wheel is beside the seat. The boiler has a door on it, that opens with a latch. There is a stack on the top of the boiler, as a miniature whistle and other valves and pipes. The boiler is connected to some cross heads and rods, which are connected in turn to the wheel that turns the front roller. The front roller is under a platform full of coal. It has a large front bumper, with a black circle out at the front. There is another hook, as well as "PHSM" written on it in white ink. b- This is a small gauge. It has a black body, a glass face plate, and a green pipe coming from the bottom. The dial goes from 0-200 in increments of 40. There is a central movable arrow with a crescent on the back end. On the bottom of the face it says "USG / U.S. GAUGE / 13089-1" in black print. c- This is a black plastic sign with white engraved lettering crediting the maker. It says "TANDEM ROLLER / 1/2 SCALE / BUILT BY THE LATE ELMER NEULEZER / WILLIAMSON, NEW YORK". d- There are roughly 300 small rocks (likely coal) sitting on the top front of the roller. They are various sizes.
