Description

A brown coloured oval shaped commemorative clay object that has circular imprints around the circumference. In the centre is a yellow coloured picture of a boat with "1902// Simpson Strickland" underneath also in yellow. Above the image is "The Great Steamboat Race" with "1973 Kingston Ontario" below the image.

The City of Kingston acknowledges that we are on the traditional homeland of the Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee and the Huron-Wendat, and thanks these nations for their care and stewardship over this shared land.
