Description
A large pickaroon made of wood and metal. The handle is made of a brown hardwood. It is cylindrical and tapers toward the free end. The handle ends in a bulb shape. The head is made of a ferrous metal. It wraps around the end of the wood and protrudes as a small pick head.
History
Pickaroons are used in the logging industry. They are helpful when moving heavy logs. A worker can use it to roll the logs, or to pierce the wood and drag it.
