Description
A butter press composed of a single piece of dark brown hardwood. The plate face is circular and has a negative-relief design depicting a thistle-like flower with 2 leaves. The design is surrounded by a simple moulding resembling a rope. The handle extends from the centre of the back plate. It is cylindrical and tapers to a blunt point at the very end.
