A wood and metal plaque. On the brass coloured metal part is an image of a two-story building with a Canada flag on the flag pole in front of it. Below the image are printed black words that read "Official Opening of the Regional Office Ministry of Transportation and Communications Kingston, Ontario// April 24, 1985". At the bottom of the plaque, there are signatures and titles of the representatives from the Ministry of Government Services and Ministry of Transportation and Communication for Ontario at the time. The back of the plaque has 2 trapezoid shaped grooves and a small hole on each side. There is a white paper label adhered to the plaque that reads "Made in Canada By KATKOV ENTERPRISES LTD. (416) 279-6400".
